The Rockford region will welcome the world to Illinois as host of the WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup Group Stage 2026, taking place July 22–26, 2026, at Rivets Stadium in Loves Park. This premier international sporting event will feature elite women’s baseball teams from around the globe competing on one of the sport’s biggest stages. Hosted by the International Women’s Baseball Center in partnership with the World Baseball Softball Confederation and GoRockford, the tournament will showcase the region’s passion for sports tourism, community pride, and commitment to advancing opportunities for girls and women in baseball.
