Take a tour of this interpretive site that served as a stop on the Underground Railroad.
This farm was established in 1824 by Michael Huffaker who built four cabins for free Black families and later hid fleeing slaves there. A former Underground Railroad site, it now serves as a living museum with seasonal tours, historic cabins, and educational programs on abolition‑era rural life. Tours are appointment only during the Winter. Please call 217-243-5678 to schedule a tour. Suggested donations: Children - $3 and Adults - $5. Illinois 250
