Food & Beverage
Farm-to-shelf agribusiness focused on growing specialty crops and utilizing native and invasive fauna from their farm and other farmers throughout Southern Illinois. They create delicious and unique products for your kitchen, pantry, and cellar.
Owned and operated by Derek and Libby Ervin, Glaciers End is a store located at 104 North Print Avenue in Marion IL. Derek and Libby relocated to beautiful Southern Illinois after spending several years in Chicago with the Green Acres motto- "Farm Livin' is the life for us".
Glaciers End specializes in traditional food preservation methods using ingredients sourced from their orchard, gardens, and woods as well as from local farms and growers. They use a natural fermentation process as well as traditional canning methods to preserve their fruit and vegetables. Glaciers End produces healthy and delicious creations that both challenge and delight the palate.
While not certified organic, the farm does not use sprays that are not OMRI-certified. They use sustainable practices, utilize native as well as invasive fauna, and attempt to incorporate vegetables and fruits that thrive within the region with as little assistance as possible.
