Witches & Wizards of Woodstock is a spellbinding day of fun for all ages, transforming the Historic Woodstock Square into a magical realm of fantasy, whimsy, and wonder! From live entertainment and roaming characters to interactive experiences, food, shopping, and games—there’s something enchanting for every witch, wizard, and magical creature.
Take your turn under the Magical Talking Hat, test your knowledge during fantasy trivia contests, or take flight with the Loyola University Quidditch Team. Young spellcasters will enjoy free crafts, and families can explore the square with interactive scavenger hunts for a chance to win prizes. Don’t miss the Owlery, where you’ll meet real owls and raptors up close thanks to the McHenry County Conservation District.
Throughout the day, enjoy live music and performances on the outdoor stage, shop whimsical wares from local businesses, and strike a pose at immersive photo ops—including a wizard bank, bedroom under the stairs, and life-sized magical creatures!
